Academy of Creative Expression

Newark High School has a proud tradition of excellence in education within the Visual and Performing Arts. To highlight this tradition, Newark High School instituted The Academy of Creative Expression (ACE), a school within a school program.  ACE focuses on the visual and performing arts in combination with a rigorous academic curriculum and was created to enhance a student's experience and exposure to the arts. ACE students will receive priority in scheduling fine arts classes, some of which are honors and Advanced Placement courses.  Through connections with the local community and universities, seminars will be designed just for the ACE student on varying topics like creativity, patterns, inspiration, and careers in the arts. 

 

Admission into ACE is by application only.

Entry to the ACE program is available upon completion of the audition/appraisal process. See the link below for the application.
